Registration is officially open for EuroFM Conference 2027! From 18–20 February 2027, we look forward to welcoming the EuroFM community to Kufstein, Austria, for three days of learning, exchanging ideas, reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones.
For many of us, the EuroFM Conference is much more than just another event in the calendar. It is the moment when our European FM community comes together again. Practitioners, researchers, educators, students and industry partners meet in one place to share knowledge, strengthen relationships and enjoy being part of a network that, over the years, has grown into something that often feels like a family.
And in 2027, we have an especially meaningful edition ahead of us. The 31st EuroFM Conference marks 25 years of EuroFM research and also celebrates 30 years of Facility Management at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol (HOK).
Under the theme “Quarter of a Century in FM Research: Foundations and Frontiers”, we will reflect on what we have built together over the past decades, while looking ahead to the new challenges, ideas and opportunities shaping the future of Facility Management.
The EuroFM Conference is organised by EuroFM in association with the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol (HOK) and co-hosted by FMplus, bringing another strong connection between research, education and professional practice.
Two days to learn, connect and exchange
The main conference program takes place on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 February. Across these two days, we will bring together research, practice and education through keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshops, research sessions, the Student Challenge, networking lunches and breaks, FMplus sessions and plenty of moments for conversation in between. More speakers and details will be announced in the coming months but you already can take a look at our program overview. And as always, the EuroFM Conference experience goes well beyond the conference rooms…
A warm welcome to Kufstein
We start our time together on Wednesday 17 February with a special Welcome Evening in the heart of Kufstein. Those who would like to explore the town can first join an optional Night Watchman Tour through Kufstein’s historic old town, before we come together for the Welcome Reception at Panorama 1830 Sky Bar. With views across the rooftops, the River Inn and the surrounding mountains, it is the perfect place to arrive, reconnect and start the conference in a relaxed atmosphere. For returning participants, it will hopefully feel like meeting old friends again. For those joining EuroFM for the first time, it is the ideal introduction to our community. Participation in the Welcome Reception is included with the Full Event ticket.
An evening together at Kufstein Fortress
On Thursday evening, we move to one of Kufstein’s most iconic locations for the Charity & Networking Dinner at Kufstein Fortress. This evening has always been one of the special moments of the EuroFM Conference: good food, meaningful conversations and the opportunity to spend time together away from the formal program. During the evening, we will also celebrate the people and initiatives that help move our profession forward with the presentation of the EuroFM Awards. The Charity & Networking Dinner requires an additional ticket.
Discover Kufstein behind the scenes
On Friday afternoon, participants can join a special Site Visit that offers a very different perspective on Kufstein. Our first stop will be RIEDEL – The Wine Glass Company, where we will visit the RIEDEL Factory & Museum and learn more about the craftsmanship and precision behind this internationally recognised Kufstein brand, including a glassblowing demonstration. We will then continue to the International Student Residence of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol, including the newly opened Building E. Here, participants will learn more about the sustainable development of the site, its facilities and the way it supports international student life. It is another opportunity to learn together, but also simply to experience more of the city that will host us. An additional ticket is required for the Site Visit.
One final EuroFM moment in the mountains
For those who are not quite ready to say goodbye on Friday, we have planned one more experience together on Saturday 20 February. Our optional Alpine Closing Experience takes us to SkiWelt, where participants can choose between skiing or tobogganing in the Austrian mountains. Afterwards, we come together one final time at Stöcklalm, a traditional alpine restaurant at 1,130 metres, for a warm lunch, Tyrolean specialities and one last gathering with the EuroFM community. A relaxed, typically Austrian ending to a few memorable days together.
FM Winter School returns
Before the conference begins, the FM Winter School will also return from 15–17 February 2027. Students, educators and experts will work together in international and interdisciplinary teams on real-life challenges related to Facility Management, real estate, sustainability and the built environment. The Winter School has always represented an important part of what EuroFM stands for: connecting generations, countries and disciplines and giving the next generation of FM professionals the opportunity to learn, collaborate and become part of our international community.
Book early and save
With registration now officially open, this is also the best time to secure your place in Kufstein. Early Bird rates are available until 31 October 2026. Non-members can currently purchase a two-day EuroFM Conference & FMplus ticket for €699 instead of €999, saving €300. A reduced Early Bird rate of €349 instead of €399 is also available for members and ambassadors of participating FM associations.
