EuroFM Best Industry Initiative Award

EuroFM is thrilled to announce the Call for the Best Facilities Management Industry Initiative – an award designed to recognize outstanding contributions that are driving positive change in the FM sector. We’re looking for initiatives that drive progress within and outside of our industry but also contribute meaningfully to the social and environmental dimensions of sustainability.

Facilities Management plays a critical role in shaping healthier, more inclusive, and resilient environments where people live, work, and interact. As the industry evolves, it is essential to spotlight those initiatives that embrace innovation while addressing the real needs of people, organizations, and communities.

We invite EuroFM member and non-member organizations, institutions, and individuals to submit their most impactful initiatives—whether it’s a socially-conscious workplace design, an employee-centered service innovation, a collaborative community project, or a sustainability program with strong social outcomes. We want to hear from you!

We will select the Best EuroFM Industry Initiative based on the following criteria:

Innovation:

We celebrate initiatives that challenge conventional approaches—introducing fresh ideas, tools, or processes that enhance the experiences of users, improve organizational effectiveness, or increase the social value of FM.

Impact:

Your initiative should demonstrate measurable benefits—whether improving employee well-being, promoting diversity and inclusion, creating accessible environments, or strengthening connections with local communities.

Sustainability:

We emphasize a holistic view of sustainability that includes social responsibility, long-term value creation, and ethical practices within the FM domain.

Collaboration:

We value efforts that build bridges—bringing together diverse stakeholders, disciplines, or sectors to co-create solutions and drive shared progress.

Conference Day 1 (102)

Winning initiatives will be showcased at the EuroFM Conference and featured on our digital platforms, offering visibility across the international FM community. This is a unique opportunity to share your story, gain recognition, and inspire others to embrace a socially sustainable approach to facilities management.

Submissions should be professional in nature and contribute to the broader development of FM as a knowledge-driven field. Commercial or sales-driven presentations will not be accepted.

Nothing in the initiative shall disparage or denigrate any person or group on the basis of race, sex, religion, age, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, or marital status; shall disparage or defame the name, goods, services or products of others; or shall create a hostile, offensive or intimidating environment.

EuroFM Board together with invited FM professionals will evaluate each initiative based on its merits and alignment with the criteria outlined above. The selected initiatives might have an interview with the selection committee.

The EuroFM Best Industry Initative Award is presented annually at the EuroFM Conference. For all information about the award, including nominations and key dates, please visit the EuroFM Conference page and check the “Awards” section.
