As the European based and international oriented association for Facility Management, EuroFM acknowledges, promotes and stimulates the standardization structures and formulas by recognized institutes that are considering Facility Management as a profession. EuroFM does and in the past has worked with along both with the CEN and ISO standardization processes.

CEN is the European Committee for Standardization, is an association that brings together the National vStandardization Bodies of 34 European countries.

CEN officially has been recognized by the European Union and by the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) as being responsible for developing and defining voluntary standards at European level.

For the Facility Management CEN has developed the CEN/TC 348 – Facility Management.
