EuroFM Award Ceremony 2015

10 Jun 2015

The EuroFM Award Ceremony took place at the breathtaking Hunters Hall, University of Glasgow. A nice put together black-tie gala dinner at the unique atmosphere at one of Scotland’s most famous and prestigious landmarks, to relax and network amongst the conference attendees and support the finalists of the categories European Researcher of the year (EROY) 2015, Partner Across Borders 2015 and Best Paper Award 2015.

And the winner is.. Cristian Roberto Valle Kinloch, PhD Candidate at the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Art at NTNU, Trondheim received the European Researcher Award 2015 at EFMC 2015 and the University of Glasgow. For the Partner Across Borders (PAB) 2015, the organization EMC together with its partners took this years PAB crown and blew away the judges. As they all agreed that the EMC submission and Cisco Video conference call and the site visit indicated a very unusual and innovative submission and approach to its existing supply chain partners. A very commited partnership! Laslty this years Best Paper 2015 was awarded to Brian Forbes and Malcolm Brady  on "An exploration of signals as mechanisms in facilities management contracts". Congrats to both Brian and Malcom on their paper which highlights how contract incompleteness may threaten service outcomes of FM.
